Controls for playing back a score, looping sections, navigating by bar or section, and setting up your workspace.

You can also click any bar in the score to move the playhead there, or click anywhere on the minimap strip to jump to that position in the song.
The BPM chip in the player bar shows the current tempo. Click it to type a new value directly. You can also scroll your mouse wheel over it to nudge the tempo up or down.
The score's original tempo is loaded from the file. Changing BPM here affects playback only - it doesn't alter the file.
Loops a specific range of bars during playback. Essential for drilling a passage at reduced speed.
During playback (or while paused at any position):
The loop region is shown in the minimap as a highlighted overlay. Playback wraps at the B point and returns to A.
In the Chord Chart tool tab, Shift+click a cell to set A, Shift+click another to set B. Good for looping whole sections by clicking their chord blocks.
A counter badge appears in the player bar once a loop is active, showing how many times you've gone through it this session. Useful for tracking repetitions when drilling a passage.
Save positions in the score to return to quickly. Bookmarks are stored per-file in your browser.
Press F to enter fullscreen mode. The player bar, track sidebar, and minimap collapse, leaving only the score. Everything is still playable - Space still works, as do all keyboard shortcuts.
Press F again or Esc to exit. Designed for tablet use on a music stand or for distraction-free reading.
The thin strip above the player bar gives you a bird's-eye view of the entire song.
A row of small dots below the score header pulses with each beat during playback. The downbeat (beat 1) is accented with a brighter flash. The strip adapts to the current time signature automatically. It dims when playback stops.
Useful for internalizing the pulse without relying on the metronome sound.
Open the Metro tab in the tools panel. Provides a visual flash + audible click on each beat, with the downbeat accented. You can set a custom BPM and time signature independently from the score tempo.
The metronome stops automatically when you switch away from the Metro tab.
