Everything you need to open a tab file and start using Riffwork.
Riffwork is a browser-based Guitar Pro viewer and editor. Open a .gp file, see the score, play it back at any speed, and work through it with built-in practice tools. No install, no desktop app - it runs entirely in your browser.
It's designed as a companion to wherever you find tabs: download a .gp file from any tab site, drag it into Riffwork, and everything else is here.
Drag any .gp3 / .gp4 / .gp5 / .gp6 / .gp7 / .gpx / .musicxml file onto the drop zone in the center of the screen. The score loads instantly.
Open the library panel (folder icon in the header), paste a direct URL to a .gp file, and hit Enter. Riffwork fetches and opens it. Useful for loading from a file host or CDN.
Click the folder icon in the header to open your library. Files you've opened before are saved here automatically. Click any entry to reopen it without re-uploading.
Sign in to enable cloud library sync across devices. Pro
Someone sends you a Riffwork share link - just open it. The tab loads automatically. Hash-based links (free) embed the full file in the URL. Cloud share links (Pro) use a short URL that loads from Riffwork's servers.
Runs across the top. Left side has the logo and the currently open file name. Right side has the library button, sign-in, and settings.
The main area shows the rendered guitar tab and standard notation. Scroll vertically to read through the song. Click any bar to jump playback to that point.
Fixed at the bottom. Contains play/pause, BPM control, volume, and current position. The A-B loop markers are also shown here when active.
The thin strip above the player bar. Each colored block is a bar - shaded by dynamic intensity. Section markers appear as labels. The playhead tracks as the song plays. Click anywhere on the minimap to jump to that position. The A-B loop region is highlighted as an overlay.
Click the ⊞ icon (or press Ctrl+K and search) to open the tools panel. It slides in from the right and gives you access to all analysis, practice, and ear training tools. Each tool is a tab inside this panel.
If the file has multiple tracks/instruments, click a track name in the sidebar to switch which instrument is shown in the score. Right-click a track to adjust its volume.

Riffwork automatically adds any file you open to the local library (saved in your browser). There's nothing to do - just open files and they're remembered.
To sync your library across devices, sign in. Free accounts can store up to 5 songs in the cloud. Pro accounts get unlimited cloud storage.
